Everyman race 70 km and 140 km and – NEW: 25 km

German Cycling Cup

Today everyman competitors can race in the same place where Rudi Altig won the bicycle world cup in 1966. The course is challenging and appealing for hobby athletes as well as for ambitious riders. The climb to the “Hohe Acht” is the most challenging section on the 23 km course.

The “Green Hell” can either be conquered in 25, 70 or 140 kilometres. Both races will be started simultaneously. Rad am Ring is one of nine events within the German Cycling Cup series. The VDR and BDR associations, as well as the responsible event organisers have put in a great amount of work into organising this high-class series of events, which is a follow-up to the former T-Mobile Cycling Tour, including a centralised series management. The first lap is spaecial and so there is the special distance of 25 km for the first lap.

All everyman races will be started quite at the same time but from different start blocks.
