Registration

Deadline for registration was on August 2nd.
Late registrations on site are possible for all disciplines.

A few more details

Confirmation of the registration

When registering online, you will not receive any separate confirmation by post in addition to that of the system (printout window and e-mail). All required information can be found on this website or in the PDF form which you will receive on your personal user interface after your registration.

Changes within the Team

As long as the team does not exceed the maximum number of members determined by the regulations, new members can register for/ be allocated to the team by means of the Team ID at any time.

When it is required to change the team constellation, i.e. when a member who has already been allocated to a team wants to be deleted from the team list, there is a special module available. The participant who has initially created the team has the right to delete team members. After the deletion process further members can be added to the team (see above).

Deleting members from the team does not mean the respective data set is deleted too. The data set remains for the individual running and everyman bike race registrations. In the 24 hour race, however, eliminating a member from the team means the participant loses his/her permission to participate.

In order to cancel a booking (cancellation of the booking for the 24 hour race or cancellation of the individual registration for the running events, RTF or everyman bike race) you are still required to send us an message. We will subsequently cancel the booking and refund your fees according to the cancellation regulations.

Nickname/password

Rad&Run am Ring has changed over to a new booking system which administrates participant data via a nickname and a password.

Each person is allocated a nickname and a password and they will also be able to change their data themselves. In order to facilitate this, a special user interface has been created in which the participant dataset can be changed (with certain restrictions), for instance if the participant wishes to change the bank account number or the address after having moved or if the name has accidentally been misspelled.
When first entering a German Cycling Cup or Rad&Run am Ring race and thus registering in the system for the first time, a nickname and a password need to be allocated.
When subsequently booking a following event hosted by the German Cycling Club, the dataset can be retrieved from the system via the nickname and password, so it is merely required to fill in the new registration. This also applies for booking Rad&Run am Ring in 2009 or later.
When registering online, the participant can virtually select the nickname and password freely. After having registered by post, the system will allocate these data automatically. When a postal registrant provides an e-mail address, the nickname and password will be sent to this account.
The password can be altered freely, the nickname, however, cannot.
In order to create the result lists and the overall results accurately, each participant has to be able to be clearly identifiable. This applies specifically for a race series (e.g. German Cycling Cup), during the course of which the participants register for several races the results of which need to be accurately allocated to the persons in question.
There are some very common names which may be registered more than once. This is not a great problem. However, problems will occur if the names are misspelled or spelled differently on different occasions. The nickname and the password will help solve this problem. The new system, therefore, really does make sense, even though it might take some getting used to.

What is the Team ID?

The Team ID has been conceived to ensure that every participant can be allocated to one specific team in which they wish to start and in order to prevent different spelling from creating several teams with similarly sounding names.
In addition, all the members can register almost independently and still be allocated to the desired team.
For this reason our booking system features a special booking module for team registrations which works along the following principles:
Bike participant/runner 1 determines the team name (and its spelling). The system provides a specific identification number (Team ID) which will be sent to participant 1, generally via e-mail. This Team ID enables all other team members to register on the “Team registration” module.
In the team registration, the participants will also be provided with a nickname and a password with which they can register for further events or check and change their basic data. Rad&Run am Ring offers the following team disciplines:
- 24 hour bike race:
Participant 1 pays the entrance fee. The other participants can register at no extra charge until the maximum number of team members is reached.
- 24 hour MTB race: see above

- 70/140 kilometre team bike races:
Participant 1 only determines the team name. The following team members who register have to pay individually and therefore they also have to complete the data for debit purposes.
- Team run:
