Team results (except 25 km race)

This will be the first time that an official team judgement will take place within the German Cycling Cup. This is why there will also be a team judgement at Rad am Ring 2009. The teams will have at least 4 members and no more than 7. The sex or age of the team members will play no role in the results.

The team results will be calculated by adding the individual times (net) of the best four team members.  If there is a draw between two or more teams, the lower placement of the judged riders will decide. If there is still a draw after that, the better position of the best driver on that day will determine the winner.

The points for the GCC team judgement will be given analogously to the judgement for individual riders. This means the best team will receive 250 points plus kilometre points etc.

Team nomination

Each team nominated within the GCC will receive a team ID number. This ID will be allocated to the precise team name (spelling analogous to the first registration).

All the members of a team have to allocate themselves to their team directly when registering (individual registration). In order to do this they need to have the team ID. This is normally administered to the team leader or the person who has first nominated (set up) the team.

The team composition is completely open for each race. This applies to sex and age group as well as for the line-up of the team for each individual race. In principle it is a little like in professional football leagues. The points are allocated to the team, not the players.

It is permitted to register teams with the same name plus an ordinary number (team pedal 1, team pedal 2, etc.). The composition of the teams may vary from race to race.

It is not possible to transfer points from one team to another. The points a certain team (with the respective team name and team ID) has scored will remain allocated to that team until the end of the year for the final results.
